Anna Hope Lynch

Transit Witch, Open Source Nerd, Amateur Firehose Drinker

Hi, I'm Anna, and this is my little corner of our web! If you obsess over public transportation, love hacking culture, or treasure human rights, you might like it here--I hope you do! On this site, you'll find some information about me, a sprawling collection of (varyingly completed) personal projects, and my Scribbles, where I write about technology and transit policy. There are also some assorted toys strewn about. So yeah, thanks for visiting my site, and I hope you enjoy! <3

About Me

I'm a public transportation nerd, eagle scout, and data fan working at SAS as an R&D intern and attending high school in the Raleigh area!

Throughout my life, I've experienced firsthand just how valuable it is to move freely throughout the world. That's why I've made it my goal to revolutionize freedom of mobility in my community, whether by leading the Triangle Refugee Student Project to help vulnerable people make new lives in our beautiful Old North state, or by helming Tar Heels for Transit to advocate for better public transportation in the Raleigh area. I'm also involved in transit from a more technical role, currently working towards more affordable platform screen door systems with Prospera.

Beyond transit and community, I'm a really big fan of my friends, open source software, ska, alt rock, the Carolina Hurricanes, and Blaseball (Park It!). Thank you so much for reading all this if you did, and have a good day! :)
